| 2 TIME WORLD CHAMPION Jeff Allen's first wager came in 1970, when a $20 play on Miami at a young age got this future handicapping champion off and running. Raised in a gambling world that included underground card games, street-alley crap shoots and backroom sports books, Jeff - at age 25 - was graced with street smarts and more gambling experience than most in an entire lifetime. MOVE TO VEGAS Jeff began dealing cards full-time in a Vegas' casinos, while handicapping and betting sports during his spare time. He soon found out that, though, that spending 40 hours a week dealing cards in a casino was cutting into valuable time he needed to maintain that edge he accomplished as a sports handicapper. In 1987 he opened Jeff Allen Sports during the college basketball season and went on an unprecedented 15-week winning streak. "I recall when one gentleman from Philly (Ken K.) Parlayed my winning streak into $80,000, Jeff said. "It was a great accomplishment in my first full season. Though eighty-grand became a weekend worth of action for someone like myself - I was more proud of what I'd accomplished for a guy who was apprehensive when I told him to make nickel ($500) bets." Jeff never looked back, and his company grew from two sports bettors, to as many as 240 employees. "Successful people do what unsuccessful people don't do" is famous quote Jeff has lived by since 1985. A quote by Lewis Timberlake - - Jeff launched his career by establishing himself as one of the sharpest sports bettors in the world. This included back-to-back handicapping championships at the Las Vegas Hilton Super book and the highest back to back winning percentages recorded there. He added another first place title from Barley's Sports and Casino by picking every pro game on the board, and finished with close to 65 percent winners. THAT'S EVERY NFL GAME FOR THE YEAR, Fast forward to 2010, Jeff Allen's resume resembles the stuff best sellers and movies are made of, despite what the legendary handicapper believes. While betting football, basketball, and baseball is Allen's primary passion he is often seen at the Bellagio high stakes poker games, and has several cashes at the world series of poker. Make no mistake, the same plays you'll find on his website are the same WINNERS, Jeff is personally playing for thousands right here in Vegas! |
